 GO GREEN: SAVE OUR HOME

http://helpgiovanniguglielmo.org/default.aspx

A few years ago AG Press was involved in a fundraiser for Giovanni; he was 6 months old and now he's 3 years old and doing well.  Help keep him here with us.  Also help Dean Gordon, who is also fighting the same cancer.  Lowell Cancer Center: send what you can, whether it be donations, get well cards, letters of encouragement, etc.  They need to be here with us, healthy and strong.

Join us in sending books for our troops to read an enjoy.  They need a place to escape to while fighting for us to live free.

Lowell General Cancer Center: a place for cancer patients to fight, find support, and be cared for during their trying battle.  Cheryl's mother was a patient of theirs.

Children's Hospital in Boston: a second home to most kids with special needs or medical conditions requiring extensive care.  Cheryl's daughter is a patient of theirs; she's there 3 to 4 times a year.

Autism Awareness Society: "Amie and the Purple Butterfly," is a fundraiser book, with proceeds used for research and programs for kids and adults who live with Autism, including Cheryl's daughter.

New to our company--ASPCA: a shelter for lost and/or abandoned animals.  They suffer in the cold weather, and some die because of it.  People leave them behind, they become lost, and many are never found.  We need to care for our animals as we care for ourselves. Please give whatever you can.  www.ASPCA.org.

Suzanne Manning, the author of 'Tales from a New England Farmhouse,' joins our family.  Her story is based on her farm animals and dedicated to her 14-year-old niece, recently diagnoised with leukemia. She writes:

"Cheryl, I truly had tears in my eyes when I saw Tica’s work. I can’t imagine her helping with my book for the price she quoted. She truly is a kind soul, as you are as well.  I just spoke to my sister-in-law and asked her advice about the proceeds of the book. We would like a percentage to go to Jordana’s therapeutic riding facility and the rest should go to The David’s house in Lebanon, N.H. located near the Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital where Jordana is. We had to stay there quite a bit and their warmth and hospitality is a beautiful thing. I absolutely want no royalties from this book.  Thank you,

Suzanne"

In purchasing this book, you have donated to the UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center in Goffstown, N.H. in honor of our niece Jordana, aka J.T. or Daddy’s Angel, who rides horses at the UpReach facility.

The proceeds also go the The David’s House in Lebanon N.H., which provides warm hospitality and a loving home away from home for the families of children in the hospital.

Tales from a New England Farmhouse

Good Afternoon,

http://bessthebookbus.org/

I wanted to first thank you all for your patience and support. This has been 2 years or more in the making. My book is finally complete and may be purchased through the publisher. That is the direct e-mail address to Cheryl Pillsbury, President and owner of www.agpress.8m.net, who has made all of my dreams come true by publishing my children’s book. I could never have done this without the help of Cheryl and her incredible team at AG Press, located in Townsend, Ma.   The book is a story of our goats, their antics and life together here at our farm. I won’t tell you any more because you’ll have to buy the book to find out the whole story.  I will not be receiving any royalties from this book whatsoever. All the money goes to two charities that my brother, Ross, and his wife Clacia’ had chosen after Jordana, their 14 year old daughter (soon to be 15), was diagnosed with leukemia this past December of 2009.  The first charity is a non- profit organization called UpReach. It is a Therapeutic Horseback riding facility for special needs/disabled children and adults. Jordana rides horses at their facility and they do amazing work there. The second charity is David’s House located in Lebanon, N.H. where Jordana was hospitalized, for two months while battling leukemia. David’s House provided our family with a warm, safe place to stay while Jordana was in the hospital. They are amazing there and run on donations. If you buy a second copy, the second copy can be donated to http://bessthebookbus.org, another incredible place that visits inner city kids less fortunate and gives each child there very own book to keep. So, when purchasing more than one copy, please tell Cheryl you would like to donate your extra copies to Bess’s Book Bus.   We kept the book affordable, but also wanted to raise money for these two wonderful charities. I have ordered 16 copies myself for family and my child care kids. AG Press was going to give me a discount and free copies of my own book, but I wouldn’t hear of it. I really want to try and raise money in honor of Jordana. So, please purchase your copy of my book and spread the word to anyone I haven’t included in this e-mail. Thank you all for your support, Suzanne Manning
